Mobile Food Pantry

Our organization is devoted to providing hope and support to those who need it most. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life, and through our collective efforts, we strive to make a meaningful impact on our community.

Outreach lies at the core of Project Seraphim Angels With A Purpose’s existence. The Southwest Atlanta community, where we focus our efforts, is home to many distressed families facing significant challenges.

For over 24 years, Project Seraphim Angels With A Purpose Inc., in collaboration with our community partners, has been dedicated to addressing food insecurities in Southwest Atlanta. Acting as a mobile response to food deserts, we have worked tirelessly to ensure families have access to the nourishment they need.

Our mission to be a reliable food source became even more urgent with the onset of COVID-19. With the support of Council Member Andrea Boone, we established Collier Park Recreational Center in Adamsville as a daily food distribution site. During this time, we provided food access to over 300 families weekly, ensuring that no one went hungry during this unprecedented crisis.

Our primary focus remains on displaced families residing in hotels and extended stays along Fulton Industrial Boulevard, as well as homeless families, veterans, and senior citizens in the community.

Under the leadership of Outreach Coordinator Sheila Smith, we continue to host a mobile food pantry on the second Saturday of each month. This initiative provides fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy and non-dairy items, non-perishable goods, and more to families in need.

Additionally, we offer information about other food pantries and grocery programs available in the area to further support the community.

1. Jackson Memorial Baptist Church Food Pantry
   Open every second Wednesday of the month from 12 PM to 2 PM, serving families in need.
2. Monthly Grocery Giveaway
   Hosted by The City of Atlanta, Council Member Andrea Boone, and Jackson Memorial Baptist Church every third Thursday of the month. This event takes place in the parking lot of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church at:
   534 Fairburn Rd NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30331.
