With over 25 years of experience working with women and children, Gail’s dedication to service is evident in every aspect of her work.
She has taught children with mild learning disabilities, founded and operated a child development center, and worked tirelessly to uplift underserved communities.
Gail’s belief in the transformative power of community and her heart for service have been the driving force behind Project Seraphim’s success. Her leadership continues to inspire action, cultivate hope, and transform lives across Southwest Atlanta.

Cathelean Chambers Steele was an educator in Alabama for more than twenty-five years. Upon retirement she started her own business Smart Minds Inc, an after-school tutoring service.
During her tenure as an educator Cathelean served on the state-wide Social Studies Curriculum Committee and the Theatre Tuscaloosa Board of Directors. She is a Diamond Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she served in several elected positions including Vice President. Cathelean is the program director for the national office of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and founder of Justice for Girls, a sex trafficking prevention initiative.
She is the recipients of many awards and the author of Smarty Arty, a children’s book. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking, and traveling. Her global travels include thirteen countries.
Cathelean is married to Charles Steele, Jr., President and CEO of the national Southern Christian Leadership Conference. She is the mother of two daughters, LeKeisha (Cleveland) and Charla (Desmond). Her proudest achievement is the grandmother of Carson, Cruz, Harper Grace Ever and Paige.

Carmelia Vasser is a retired educator. She holds an Ed.S (Education Specialist) degree in Educational Leadership and a Master’s degree in Special Education. Her philosophy is "An effective leader recognizes that the child, the parent, the teachers, the counselors, the staff, and the principal are the essential pieces needed for the puzzle to be connected.
Neither piece makes the puzzle complete without the other." She is a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church. She is a God fearing Prayer Warrior, serves on Deaconess Ministry, a member of JMBC SAVE Committee which assists with Scholastic Awards, and has served as one of the Youth Choir Advisors. She is married to Rick Vasser and they have two adult children, Mia and Ricky and blessed to have together, two grandchildren.

Pastor John Wayne Wilson, originally from Chicago, Illinois, is a man of vision, leadership, compassion, and integrity. He currently resides in Marietta, Georgia. Let me share more about his remarkable journey:

Family Background:
o Reverend Wilson is the son of Alberta (RIP) and Dannie Craft.
o He is married to Cheryl Wilson from Atlantic City, NJ.
o They are proud parents of five children: DeAireo, Michael, Kelleigh, Aireon, and Anica, and have eight grandchildren.
Spiritual Journey:
o Reverend Wilson was baptized on May 18, 1980, at Logos Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois.
o He accepted the call to serve under Pastor Donald L. Parsons.
o Upon relocating to the Atlanta area, he faithfully served at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Gregory A. Sutton.
o He received his Certificate of License on August 28, 2006, and was ordained on July 20, 2008.

Educational Achievements:
o Reverend Wilson graduated from Percy L. Julian High School in Chicago, Illinois.
o He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio (1988).
o Currently pursuing a second undergraduate degree in Health Services Management at DeVry University.
o He obtained his master’s degree from Ohio Christian University in 2016.

Ministry and Outreach:
o Besides his commitment as an associate pastor at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, Rev. Wilson teaches Sunday School.
o He is an active member of the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church Outreach Ministry and T.H.U.G Ministry (Testimonies Helping Uncover Greatness).
o Rev. Wilson is a motivational speaker, particularly passionate about guiding youth and men seeking God’s purpose.
Current Role:
o Pastor John Wilson founded YHWH Global Ministries in East Point, Georgia.
o He follows the spirit of God to lead and inspire God’s people.
o Pastor Wilson continues to study, teach, and preach the Word of God, imparting its richness into the lives of others.
